Transfer your 8mm, Super 8 and 16mm film to DVD or tape.
Your old family movies are just that: Old. 8mm and Super8 films are probably pushing at least 30 years old by now, and 16mm stock considerably older. Film doesn't stand up to the ravages of time very well -- it's subject to mold, scratching, and most of all, breakage because of increasing brittleness of the film stock over time. It won't be long before you won't be able to trust your projector to handle that film gently enough to view your memories even one last time. The emulsion on color film simply deteriorates over time too, so film you haven't looked at in years may already be beyond recovery. It's time to ensure their protection. We can transfer your films -- 8mm, Super8 and 16mm (sound too) -- to DVD or videotape, cleaning and splicing as necessary. At your option, we can provide full menu access (DVD only) and background sound or music for your silent films. Put the projector and screen back in the closet.
